COMPETITION RULES

20 contestants

2 mins per contestant, 1 beat or a compilation of beats but no longer than 2 minutes

5 artists onstage per round this is not 1v1...but rather 1v1v1v1v1

Round 1: 10 will be eliminated 10 advance
Round 2: 5 will be eliminated 5 advance
Round 3: top 3 picked out of last 5

Beats must be original production, no djing(samples are OK)

Contestants will be judged by a panel of 3 special guest judges on a 10 point system
judges will take into account Creativity, Intricacy, Overall Energy, Crowd involvement, etc

All beats must be performed in some way, whether its with a controller of some sort or straight off your comp with effects, there’s no set restrictions for this, but performance is judged so make it count.

Beats can be sample based or all original, but they must be produced by the entrant. 
Please don't attempt to enter someone else’s material, between the crowd and the people involved you will be caught.

All entrants must be 18 or over
All entrants must submit equipment lists upon confirmation of their spot in the battle
